Criminal Records Bureau Checks

It is the Trust's policy that members of staff who would be in contact with vulnerable people should have a Criminal Records Bureau check carried out on them.

Due to the nature of the Trust's work LCPT are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act.

In the event that you are successful in your application a disclosure will be required from the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) for the post applied for.

A past convication will not necessarily be a bar to obtaining the post applied for each case will be considered on its own merits.
